Obsessed With Isabella

This blog is dedicated to my daughter, Isabella. She is the smartest, strongest, most beautiful little girl you could ever meet. This is why she needs a blog all about her. Although she is the center of my life I will also share my opinions and ideas on other subjects, but mostly this will be about my little chunk-chunk.

because Doug has an obsession with pulling up little kids pants, bellbell & aiden are often subjected to the public humiliation...i suppose it doesn't help when i post the pictures for the entire world to see...

Isabella doing a little painting on her easel she received from grandpa Tom for her 3rd birthday. It has a paper roll she can use to paint, a dry erase marker board, and a chalkboard. You can also raise/lower the heigh so she can use it as she gets older. Very cool...

A picture of the last Farmer's Market we attended this summer. Isabella didn't want her picture taken, but she said green carebear (that's his name, duh) did, so I took his picture. I was planning to take more pics at the Farmers Market, but I forgot so I only got a couple before and after taken. Oh well, there's always next summer.

A picture of Bellbell after the Farmer's Market. We bought some whipped honey, kuchen, a little pumpkin, veggies, & rhubarb bread. Afterwards we headed over to Porpoura, as usual, and grabbed some lunch. They always have great sandwiches & soup. Isabella also got an Italian Soda like mommy. Yes, it's sugar free so don't get all worked up about it.

Isabella ready for bed at the Travelodge. We were FORCED to sleep at a hotel for 2 nights because of wasps trying to take over our house. I'm not going to say anything more about that specific event because I might get myself into trouble doing that. I will say that it was a long couple of weeks dealing with that shit & I'm very thankful that it's getting cold outside.

Bellbell felt the need to give her bus a bath too at the hotel. We bought her the bus because she loves riding the hers to school.

I love fall...

The title really has nothing to do with this post, but it's true. I love it!

I posted more pictures. I thought I was finally getting caught up, but now I feel way behind again. Oh well, I'll get there eventually I hope. The pictures are kind of in order, but not really.

This picture is out of order. This is a pic from her second day of headstart. My goal was to take a new pic of her every morning for the first few weeks of school, but long story short, I didn't. I don't know why she's standing like a little pregnant women, but she's still cute, huh?

Isabella with all her presents at her birthday party. We went out to eat at Paradiso's with Kevin, April, Aiden, Amber, Ben & unborn baby Bailey. :) Then we came back to our house & opened presents & had cupcakes. I think Isabella had a really good time. She started headstart that day too, so by the time everything was done I was exhausted, but it was worth it.

Isabella letting uncle Kevin borrow her new Little Mermaid DVD from mommy & daddy. Let's just say that's one of Kevins "favorite" movies ever.

Doug ended up having to open Isabella's last few presents. It's not like she had hundreds of presents, but I suppose a 3 year olds attention span only lasts so long. I think deep down Doug was excited to get to open some.

The finished product! We made ice cream cone cupcakes with blue & green frosting, red & yellow gel, and gummy worms. Isabella loved them, but I didn't really enjoy them. I've never actually had cupcakes in ice cream cones before, and it made it too dry & the cones got soft. But it was fun to make them with bellbell.

Isabella ready for her first day of headstart. She started school on her birthday because she was put into the 3 year old class, but she couldn't actually attend until she turned 3. We visited her classroom a couple weeks before so she was able to meet her teachers and see how fun the classroom is. She loves riding the bus, which made Doug and me nervous, but she took to it right away. Luckily, she's only gone for a little more than 4 hours a day because I don't know if I could handle her being gone for longer than that. I guess I got really spoiled being able to spend all my time with her for 3 years, that I'm still trying to adjust. She's lucky that I realize how much she enjoys school & how much it's teaching her. Otherwise, I wouldn't have lasted a week & probably would have pulled her out. ;) Now I'm dreading kindergarten.

Isabella excited about her birthday cookies she's bringing to school to share. Unfortunately, headstart has a policy that you can only bring store bought food for treats. I understand why, but since I love to cook it would be way more fun to make something WITH Isabella & have her bring it. Oh well, I don't think the kids really care if it's homemade or not as long as it's filled with sugar.
