Obsessed With Isabella

This blog is dedicated to my daughter, Isabella. She is the smartest, strongest, most beautiful little girl you could ever meet. This is why she needs a blog all about her. Although she is the center of my life I will also share my opinions and ideas on other subjects, but mostly this will be about my little chunk-chunk.

Here's your update psycho bell-bell picture needers...

Actually there's not much to say. We went to DL a couple weeks ago to visit Doug's family. Fun. Last weekend was Doug's birthday. You can read about that at his blog (http://www.gravereflection.blogspot.com/). Fun.

I guess the biggest thing going on right now is that bell-bell starts gymnastics tomorrow. I guess they can start as young as 9 months old, so 16 (almost 17) months old doesn't seem that young anymore. I'm very excited for her to be around other kids her age and doing new things, but I'm a little nervous too. I think I'm just nervous because it's something new in general. I haven't had anything to do with gymnastics since I was like 8 or something and Isabella has never done anything like this. Either way I think it will be a great experience for her to interact with new people once a week.

That's really all I have to say about what's going on around here. Now stop harassing me and post on your own damn blogs! Yes, ksofm, that's right, I'm talking to you...well, and everyone else that has a blog...

Isabella trying to sit in her sled. It was inside because Doug brought it in to tie a rope on it so we could pull her instead of just pushing her. Posted by Picasa

I'm posting this picture just to show everyone how great of a dad/boyfriend Doug is. I know everyone already knows that, but I always like to have proof. :) The other day he took her outside to play just so I could get some cleaning done and started on supper. Maybe that doesn't sound like a big deal, but when you try to do those thing while also entertaining a 16 month old it becomes a HUGE deal. Thank you soooo much Dougie!!! Posted by Picasa

I made an oatmeal cake the other day and Isabella got one of the beaters for the first time ever. Trust me, she absolutely loved it. I know, I know...raw eggs=terrible mother...what I would say to that is...no cake batter=BITCH....you have to share the wealth people. On this day the wealth was cake batter. Posted by Picasa

Isabella and daddy both got one...lucky little punks... Posted by Picasa

"You know you aren't getting this amazing cake-batter-holder back, right?" Posted by Picasa

Isabella is sooo smart that she can read one of daddy's books.... Posted by Picasa

I just like this one... Posted by Picasa

Isabella is just like daddy as you can see. Reading while she does her "business"... Posted by Picasa

Isabella simply being cute...We are working on her thumb sucking, but she doesn't seem to care. Big surprise, huh? Usually whenever we pull it out of her mouth she just laughs... Posted by Picasa

Isabella eating dinner in the living room. Tonight Doug made dinner because I haven't been feeling well lately and I finally just gave up on being a functioning mom. Since he made dinner he was also given the privlege of deciding that dinner would be served in the living room. He got out Isabella's carebear table that came with her carebear chairs. I put an old towel over it, and she sat down to eat. It will continue to amaze and impress me every single time she does something even remotely like a "big" person. Watching her sit there on the floor eating her dinner like it was nothing new was crazy. The fact that she wasn't throwing her food her plate across the room made me think of how much she's learned in 16 months. Crazy stuff man... Posted by Picasa
